Liverpool and Everton both put in great performances on Sunday, keeping pace with each other. If you want to read full match reports of any of the other games from this weekend in the Premier League, you can find them here.
Premier League, Week 37: And now for the games that didn’t matter
Instead of trying to focus on multiple games at once or calling in emergency reinforcements, we decided to focus our efforts on the games that were relevant to the relegation battle on Sunday. We do hope you understand.
Everton 2-0 West Ham United
David Moyes got sent off in style as Kevin Mirallas scored twice in a win. West Ham had nothing to play for and it showed a bit, though they certainly didn’t lay down. They remain ahead of Liverpool in the table.
Fulham 1-3 Liverpool
Dimitar Berbatov put Fulham ahead in the first half, but it was all downhill from there. Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho were dominant, with Coutinho setting up two goals and Sturridge scoring a hat trick. Arsenal and Spurs fans should be terrified for next season.
