Real Madrid vs. Atletico Madrid, 2013 Copa del Rey final: Lineups

Jose Mourinho’s on-going feud with Pepe means that a less than 100% Sergio Ramos starts with Raul Albiol in the central defense as Real Madrid look to continue their dominance over city rivals Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid will chase their only trophy of the season with as close to a first choice lineup as injuries allow. Sergio Ramos starts despite admitting in yesterday's press conference he's not at 100 percent. Even a slightly weakened Ramos is probably a better options, especially with Raphael Varane out injured.

Pepe remains dropped from the squad after his public spat with Jose Mourinho and Ricardo Carvalho makes the bench ahead of the Brazilian defender.

With no suspensions or injuries to deal with, Atletico head coach Diego Simeone makes two changes from his lineup over the weekend against Barcelona. Felipe Luis returns at left back while Mario Suárez returns in the midfield. The dangerous attacking duo of Diego Costa and Radamel Falcao start up top.

Real Madrid starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Diego López; Fabio Coentrão, Raul Albiol, Sergio Ramos, Michael Essien; Xabi Alonso, Sami Khedira; Luka Modric, Mesut Özil, Cristiano Ronaldo; Karim Benzema.

Atletico Madrid starting lineup (4-4-2): Thibaut Courtois; Filipe Luis, Diego Godín, Miranda, Godín, Juanfran; Mario Suárez, Gabi, Arda Turan; Diego Costa, Radamel Falcao.
