Torino vs Genoa, Preview: A relegation six-pointer in Turin

Although neither side currently occupy any of the relegation places, both sides remain perilously close to the drop zone. Torino are a point above their visitors, who hold a three point gap over Palermo.

Whereas Genoa have found some form, picking up eight points from a possible 12, including two wins on the bounce, Torino are the polar opposite. The Granata have hit the skids at the worst possible time and come into the game on the back of four consecutive defeats.

Genoa recorded their biggest victory of the season on Sunday when they defeated Pescara 4-1 and sent them to Serie B. Marco Borriello's brace moved him up to 12 for the season and confidence will be high in the Grifone camp.

Torino welcome Kamil Glik back from suspension, while Alen Stevanovic is the only notable absentee with a back injury.

Juraj Kucka returns to the Genoa squad after a three week absence, but Damiano Ferronetti, Ruben Olivera, and Marco Rossi remain sidelined.
