Mexico are in good shape in CONCACAF qualifying after picking up four points from their last two matches, but their fans will be expecting a win at the Azteca on Tuesday night. El Tri have conceded points at home twice in qualifying -- recording 0-0 draws against both the United States and Jamaica -- and need to turn things around on their home soil against Costa Rica.
Mexico vs. Costa Rica: TV schedule and how to watch online
Mexico and Costa Rica kick off the first part of a doubleheader in the United States.
Thanks to goal differential, the Ticos currently hold the top spot in CONCACAF following their victory over Honduras on Friday. They're only one goal ahead of Mexico, but they have a game in hand. If they can steal a point like the U.S. and Jamaica did, they'll be in excellent shape to qualify for the World Cup heading into September.
In the United States, this game is the first in a doubleheader of World Cup qualifiers, taking place just before the USMNT-Panama match. It can be seen on TV and online in both English and Spanish.
Match date/time: Tuesday, 8 p.m. ET
Venue: Estadio Azteca, Mexico City, Mexico
TV: ESPN (U.S. - English), Univision Deportes (U.S. - Spanish)
Online: Watch ESPN (U.S. - English), UniMas (U.S. - Spanish)
