Antonio Di Natale extends Udinese contract until 2015

Udinese goal-machine Antonio Di Natale has signed a contract extension for a further two years at the club.

Antonio Di Natale has extended his stay at Udinese by a further two years after signing a new deal at the club which will take him through to the end of the 2014-15 season.

The striker, whose goals have been key to Udinese in recent seasons, is believed to now be on a 1.7m euros a year salary, the highest ever paid by the club.

Some reports had linked the veteran with a move to Serie A champions Juventus, but Di Natale had denied such a move would take place and has now backed it up by committing to his club.

Di Natale has scored an amazing 176 goals for the club, continuing to roll back the years to put himself among the top scorers in the league season after season. As one of only two players to have scored more than 20 goals in four separate seasons for the past 25 years, his new contract is much-deserved.
