Spain vs. Uruguay, 2013 Confederations Cup: Preview and TV schedule

Spain will look to continue their 25-game unbeaten run in competitive matches when they take on Uruguay in the Confederations Cup.

Uruguay face a daunting task as they look to end Spain's 25-game unbeaten run in competitive games when the two sides clash in the Confederations Cup.

Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque has some choices to make, as he chooses between Iker Casillas and Victor Valdes in goal, while he must also decide who will replace the injured Xabi Alonso in midfield.

For Uruguay, Luis Suarez returns from suspension, so coach Oscar Tabarez will have to accomodate both the Liverpool forward and Edinson Cavani into the side. Uruguay are coming off the end of a six-match winless run after they got into real trouble in their World Cup Qualifying campaign, but a recent win in Venezuela gave them a much-needed boost which should put their camp in high spirits.

Spain, meanwhile, will be looking to complete the set -- the Confederations Cup is the only competitive tournament which has eluded this team, and they will be as determined as ever to secure victory and lay down a warning market for their World Cup campaign this time next year.

Match Date/Time: Sunday, 11 p.m. BST, 6 p.m. ET

Venue: Arena Pernambuco, Recife, Brazil

TV: ESPN, Unimas (U.S.), BBC One (U.K.), TLN Telelatino, CBC (Canada), TeleCinco (Spain)

Online: ESPN3 (U.S.), BBC iPlayer (U.K.)
