Well, that's a surprising start to the second half. Uruguay have equalized against Brazil in the 48th minute, thanks to some absolutely horrendous defending. Uruguay did well to create the danger in the first place, but Brazil did an awful job of doing anything with one of their numerous chances to clear.

Luis Suarez had an initial shot blocked and the clearance attempt following that block failed. Thiago Silva, instead of trying again to boot the ball out of the box, played an extremely dangerous pass to Marcelo. The Brazil left back wasn't ready for it, but El Matador was.
It's been a surprisingly nightmarish day for the usually fantastic Thiago Silva and David Luiz, and suddenly this game looks very interesting.
