Panama are stunningly in the driver's seat in Group A following their defeat of Mexico, and can put themselves in a position to avoid the tournament's other big guns in the quarterfinal if they clinch three points against Martinique on Thursday. Martinique have proven to be no pushovers, however, and outplayed Canada for 90 minutes in their opener before hitting a spectacular winner.

While Martinique are unlikely to control the game as easily against Panama as they did against Canada, the Panamanians will certainly be weary of the danger they present on the counter. Panama looked excellent in their opener and will expect to take control of this match early, but don’t be too stunned if Martinique give them a tough time and keep the result in doubt deep into the second half.
