Fiorentina have announced in a statement on their website that they have reached an agreement with Manchester City for the sale of their attacker Stevan Jovetić, "subject to the player signing an economic contract." The fee paid to bring the Montenegrin to Manchester is believed to total around €30 million, as his long transfer saga finally draws to a close.
Manchester City reach agreement with Fiorentina for Stevan Jovetić
Stevan Jovetić will join Manchester City from Fiorentina after the two clubs reached an agreement, with only a contract left to be signed.

A versatile attacker, Jovetić made over a century of appearances for the viola after moving from Serbian club Partizan in 2008. Capable of playing as a centre-forward and anywhere across an attacking-midfield trio, he could feasibly slot in anywhere across Manuel Pellegrini’s attack -- though is probably best playing behind the striker as a number ten.
Not always showing his best as a departure grew ever more inevitable last season, he still managed to chip in with 13 goals in Serie A. A player of great talent -- and still only 23-years-old -- he should slot straight into the first team at Eastlands this season, hopefully hitting his best form again.
