According to the Italian media, AC Milan is working to improve their midfield by adding two very interesting signings. It is reported that the deal for the industrious Japanese midfielder from CSKA Moscow, Keisuke Honda, is done and he will earn €2.5 million a year over the next 4 seasons. However, it is still unknown whether he will join this summer or in the January transfer window. Milan is also close to landing Sampdoria midfielder Andrea Poli.
Calciomercato: the latest Serie A rumors
AC Milan and Lazio could significantly improve their squads if reports on their new signings prove true.

Lazio is on the verge of landing two potentially fantastic signings. After long and exhausting negotiations, it is rumored that Santos' number 10, Felipe Anderson will finally become a Lazio player, with whispers that he'll be in Rome on Friday to close the deal. Friday, too, may bring the arrival of Argentine playmaker Lucas Biglia, after seven seasons spent with Anderlecht. The Italian cup winners are also negotiating with Pescara over young Croat Ante Vukusic and with Empoli over 19 year old Albanian defender Elseid Hysaj.
Speaking of midfielders, a deal that sends Catania's regista Francesco Lodi to Genoa is expected to be signed soon. Panagiotis Tachtsidis, who arrived in Genoa just a few weeks ago, could go to Catania in exchange. It also seems Genoa will sign the former Porto and current Real Zaragoza right back, Cristian Sapunaru.
While everyone is talking about Mario Gomez, Fiorentina are looking to conclude some other pieces of business. AC Milan legend Massimo Ambrosini, whose contract with his old club ran out, could officially join Viola by the end of the week. At the same time, there are unconfirmed reports of negotiations with Swiss champions Basel over goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
Torino have struck a deal with Bari over talented 22 year old Nicola Bellomo. Torino bought 50% of the midfieder's contract, leaving him co-owned between the granata and Chievo Verona.
Napoli's Marco Donadel is, reportedly, close to signing for newly promoted Livorno. Which seems a more credible rumor than that of Aurelio De Laurentiis wanting to sneak in and snatch Stevan Jovetic from under Juventus's noses.
