Having been hosted in Beijing for three of the last four seasons, the Super Cup returns to Rome for the first time since 2001 on Sunday. Serie A holders Juventus meet last season's Coppa Italia winners Lazio, in their first Super Cup clash in over a decade.
Juventus vs. Lazio, 2013 Italian Super Cup: Preview and TV schedule
Italy’s traditional curtain-raiser takes place this weekend, with Juventus meeting Lazio in the Super Cup.

Juventus head into the match as favourites, looking to defend the Super Cup title they won last year. They've built on their already-excellent squad this summer, with strikers Carlos Tévez and Fernando Llorente set to be handed their competitive (or at least semi-competitive) debuts, though Mirko Vučinić may be a preferred starter to Llorente. Former Torino centre-back Angelo Ogbonna could also make his first appearance, with Andrea Barzagli doubtful through injury.
It's feasible that Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia will be the only debutant in Lazio's team, with their new Brazilian duo both struggling with slight injuries. Attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson recently flew to Germany for treatment, with his compatriot Vinícius also in doubt with an ankle problem. Miroslav Klose will spearhead the Aquile attack again, with the veteran having been their top scorer in the last couple of seasons.
