Jose Mourinho is gone from the Bernabéu and has been replaced by Carlo Ancelotti as Real Madrid look to recover from season in which they failed to win a major trophy. That's not something that happens to Los Blancos very often and Ancelotti knows he has to turn things around quickly.
Real Madrid vs. Real Betis: Preview and TV schedule
Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti will look to begin their season with a victory over Real Betis.

Madrid will get a decent challenge to open the season as Real Betis arrives looking to have another strong season in Spain's top flight. Betis were in the Champions League hunt for most of last year but faded down the stretch. A result away against mighty Madrid would be a great way to get things started.
For Ancelotti he’ll have to deal with a few missing players as he begins his time in charge of Madrid. Fortunately, the cupboard is hardly bare so he should have plenty of viable options.
