Tottenham announce the transfer of Scott Parker to Fulham

Scott Parker’s time at Spurs has come to an end after the club announced they have sold the midfielder to Fulham.

Tottenham announced on Monday the sale of Scott Parker to Fulham, via the magic of Twitter. The 32-year-old midfielder has spent the last two season at White Hart Lane, making 63 appearances for the club.

Parker was a big boost to the Spurs midfield in 2011 but last season Parker spent most of the year on the bench as he struggled with injuries and couldn’t get ahead of more talented options.

Parker has reportedly signed a three-year deal with Fulham though the transfer fee has not been disclosed. Parker moved from West Ham to Spurs back in 2011 for a reported £5.5 million fee though Parker’s age and injury problems have probably reduced the value they were able to get in return.
