Fulham vs. Arsenal, Premier League: Lineups

Arsenal leave Jack Wilshere on the bench as they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage in the first game of the Premier League weekend.

Jack Wilshere is left on the bench as Arsenal look to get over a bad opening in the Premier League as they face Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Olivier Giroud leads the line for the gunners, with Lukas Podolski reintroduced to the team along with Theo Walcott in support. Aaron Ramsey and Tomas Rosicky form the pivot in midfield, behind Santiago Cazorla. In defence, Bacary Sagna is drafted in as a centre-back, with Carl Jenkinson at right-back.

Fulham, meanwhile, keep Patjim Kasami in the team after his goal against Sunderland last week, while Dimitar Berbatov starts up front with former Tottenham midfielder Adel Taarabt in behind.

Fulham starting line-up (4-4-1): David Stockdale; Sasha Riether, Aaron Hughes, Brede Hangeland, John Arne Riise; Damien Duff, Scott Parker, Steve Sidwell, Patjim Kasami; Adel Taarabt; Dimitar Berbatov.

Arsenal starting line-up (4-3-3): Wojciech Szczesny; Carl Jenkinson, Per Mertesacker, Bacary Sagna, Kieran Gibbs; Aaron Ramsey, Tomas Rosicky, Santiago Cazorla; Theo Walcott, Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud.
