Newly-promoted Cardiff City didn't enjoy their first taste of life in the Premier League, going down 2-0 away at West Ham last weekend. Their baptism of fire continues at home to Manchester City on Sunday, in a game that could be entirely one-sided. City romped to a 4-0 win in their opening game against Newcastle United, looking immediately comfortable under their new manager.
Cardiff City vs. Manchester City: Preview and TV schedule
Manchester City are expected to record a comfortable win away at newly-promoted Cardiff City on Sunday.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini has a handful of early injury concerns, with centre-backs Vincent Kompany and Matija Nastasić both suffering. The former will certainly miss out, though there are hopes the latter will return in time to partner Joleon Lescott in defence. Micah Richards is doubtful with a hamstring problem, while Stevan Jovetić could shake off a knock to make his first appearance.
Cardiff manager Malky Mackay should have a full-strength squad to choose from, with only one slight question mark over the fitness of new striker Andreas Cornelius. He was sidelined for the West Ham game with an ankle injury, though is expected to return here.
Cardiff City injuries and suspensions
Out: None. In doubt: Andreas Cornelius (ankle).
