UEFA Champions League 2013: Celtic, Zenit both advance to the playoff round
Celtic, Zenit St. Petersburg and PSV Eindhoven are among the teams that qualified today for the playoff round of this year’s Champions League.

Zenit St. Petersburg hammered FC Nordsjaelland 5-0 to advance 6-0 on aggregate over FC Nordsjaelland. Roman Shirokov had a brace for Zenit while Hulk, Anderi Arshavin and Miguel Danny all pitched in goals as well.
Celtic weren’t very impressive on the road against Elfsborg setting for a scoreless draw, but it was enough to move them into the next round. Viktoria Plzen advanced as well with the somewhat ridiculous aggregate scoreline of 10-2 over Estonian side Nomme Kalju.
Just a reminder, all advancing teams enter a playoff round that will either send them on to the group stages of the Champions League or the Europa League. All teams that lose in this round of the tournament will move to a Europa League playoff round.
