Chelsea have announced in an official statement that Victor Moses will spend this season on loan at Liverpool since the winger is evidently not in José Mourinho's first-team thoughts at the moment. That's despite the Nigerian impressing at Stamford Bridge last season, netting 10 goals in 43 appearances in total.
Victor Moses completes loan move to Liverpool
Chelsea winger Victor Moses will spend this season on loan at Liverpool, the club have announced.

This move seems to make sense for all involved, even if Moses will be playing at one of Chelsea's divisional rivals. He should have his development furthered by first-team football at a competitive Premier League side, with the Blues retaining ownership of the player -- there's reportedly no purchase option included in the deal for Liverpool.
Still only 22, Moses still could have a long future at Stamford Bridge. With the recent arrival of Samuel Eto'o making competition for attacking places even tougher, though, it would've been hard to envisage him finding regular football under Mourinho this season. At Anfield, that won't be such an issue.
