Scotland vs. Belgium, 2014 World Cup qualifying: Preview and TV schedule

Belgium will look to win their seventh straight match and move closer to clinching the top spot in Group A.

While Scotland have improved under new head coach Gordon Strachan, they were knocked out of contention for a finals berth early World Cup qualifying. At this point it's all about pride and building for the future for Scotland as they host group leaders Belgium in Glasgow.

Marc Wilmots' side have won six straight matches and are well on their way to Brazil, but there's still work to do with Croatia still within striking distance in second place. Eden Hazard sat out training this week with an achilles problem but is still expected to play on Friday. Defender Vincent Kompany is out with a injury as well.

Four Scottish players -- James Morison, Graham Dorrans, Allan McGregor and George Boyd -- have withdrawn ahead of qualifiers and have been replaced by Craig Bryson, Chris Burke and Kevin Thomson and Lee Wallace.

Match Date/Time: 8:00 p.m. local, 3:00 p.m. ET

Venue: Hampden Park, Glasgow, Scotland

TV: Sky Sports 3 (U.K.), Sportsnet 360 (Canada)

Online: ESPN3 (U.S.)
