After the top picks in the MLS SuperDraft, it's usually tough for teams to find star players. Occasionally, a team will unearth a gem, like the Rapids with Deshorn Brown last year, but that's rare. The Colorado Rapids, Chicago Fire and Columbus Crew will be hoping that they have that rarity in picks 12, 13 and 14.

Louisville Athletics
Colorado picked Marlon Hairston No. 12 overall, snagging a Generation adidas player who many think can be very good down the road. He has some maturing to do and needs to put some weight on, but he’s athletic and very smart so if he can put it together he can be great,
Marco Franco went No. 13 to the Fire, who got a MLS-ready defender. Seemingly everyone has likened Franco to A.J. DeLaGarza so it is no surprise that the LA Galaxy were supposedly high on him, but he is heading to Chicago, where he can help that back line as a rookie.
The Crew took Ben Sweat with the 14th pick, giving them a left-footed defender, which makes any player about 15 times more valuable in MLS. Sweat is limited, but it doesn’t take much to be one of the better left backs in a league short on left-footed defenders.
