Juan Carlos Garrido's time in charge of Real Betis is over after the manager was sacked by the club on Sunday. The move comes in the wake of Betis' 5-0 loss against Real Madrid on Saturday. Betis currently sit dead last in La Liga, eight points behind the final safe spot.
Real Betis sacks manager Juan Carlos Garrido
In the wake of a 5-0 loss against Real Madrid and sitting eight points from safety at the bottom of La Liga, Real Betis have fired their second manager of the season.

The team released a brief statement on their website announcing the move.
Juan Carlos Garrido is no longer the coach of Real Betis. President Miguel Guillen today announced the Valencian technician Club has decided to dispense with his services.
The press release also said the club’s new manager will “arrive tonight” but no name has been released.
Garrido’s departure means that Betis will have their third manager of the season after starting the campaign with Pepe Mel. The club fired Mel on December 2nd, a move that was not particularly popular despite the rough start to the season the team had made.
Garrido's reign last ten matches in which his team won just twice, with both victories coming Copa del Rey matches. In five league matches he failed to win a match, earning just a single point in a scoreless draw against Real Valladolid.
