Falcao injury: Monaco forward stretchered off with apparent knee injury
A nasty tackle left Falcao in pain and put Monaco and Colombia’s dreams on hold.

Falcao was tackled from behind and his knee bent in an awkward position, sending him to the turf in pain. Trainers looked at his knee before he was stretchered off, but the club have not yet released word on the severity of the injury.
Monaco currently sit five points back of Paris Saint-Germain in the Ligue 1 table and have PSG set to visit the Stade Louis II in two weeks. Falcao will almost certainly miss that match and if Monaco lose, their title hopes may be done.
Meanwhile, Colombia's dreams of a deep World Cup run hinged on the play of their star striker. They have a slew of other talented players and an abundance of forwards, but none of them are in the same class as Falcao. This is Colombia's best team in 20 years and some have even pegged them as darkhorses to win the whole tournament, especially with it being played in South America, but that all goes up in smoke if Falcao is not available.
