Player charges stands and throws punch at fan after red card

Why’d you get a red card? HE WAS YELLING MEAN THINGS AT ME.

Nothing says eighth division football like a captain running into the stands and throwing a punch at a fan after getting a red card.

Wait, there are fans at an eighth division match? I guarantee you they are all players’ mothers or single.

Not that we condone player on fan violence, or any violence for that matter, but Karl Colley probably had a decent reason for going after that fan. Anyone who can sit through an eighth division match has to be hammered and have no friends or social skills. This is the result.

Unfortunately, that was not a good enough reason for Goole AFC, who binned Colley after the match. His Premier League dream may be dead at last.
