FA Cup draw results: Manchester City vs. Chelsea, Arsenal vs. Liverpool marquee ties

The fifth round of the FA Cup features two absolutely spectacular ties, with Manchester City hosting Chelsea and Arsenal hosting Liverpool.

Laurence Griffiths

Instead of getting deep into the competition by playing smaller sides, England's biggest sides will have to face each other in the fifth round of the FA Cup. The draw gods were kind to neutrals, making two huge ties. Arsenal will host Liverpool in the round of 16, while Chelsea will go away to Manchester City.

The draw also features two other ties with Premier League teams facing off against each other. Southampton go away to Sunderland, while Everton host Swansea. Cardiff have a tricky tie against holders Wigan, while Hull go away to Brighton. Fulham got the easiest draw of the Premier League teams, at home against either Nottingham Forest or Preston North End.

The initial ties in the fifth round of the FA Cup will take place during the week of February 15.
