Real Sociedad confirmed the signing of attacking midfielder Sergio Canales from Valencia. The club confirmed the deal on their website on Friday saying Canales has agreed to a four-and-a-half year deal that will keep the 22-year-old with the Basque Country club through the summer of 2018.
Real Sociedad sign Sergio Canales from Valencia
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder is on the move again, joining La Real on a four and a half year deal.

No details on the transfer fee have been released.
The Royal Society has reached an agreement with Valencia CF and Sergio Canales to the recruitment of young midfielder Cantabrian until the 30 of June 2018.
The 22-year-old has bounced around a great deal in his career since making his professional debut for Racing Santander in 2008. Canales spent two seasons with Real Madrid before transferring to Valencia in 2012 after a year-long loan with Los Che the season before. The midfielder has made 43 appearances for the club, scoring three goals.
Canales gives La Real another talented attacking option in an already dangerous lineup that includes Antoine Griezmann and Carlos Vela, at least for this season. There's been plenty of speculation about Griezmann's future and Canales could be his replacement should the French international move on over the summer.
He’ll be officially introduced in a press conference on Monday.
