There was plenty of drama in Tuesday’s Euro 2016 action, with several late goals and even a match being abandoned.
Euro 2016 qualifying scores: Portugal snatch last minute win, Germany blanked by Ireland
It was a day of dramatic late goals and crowd trouble in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.

Germany were held on home soil by the Republic of Ireland after John O'Shea netted a 94th minute equalizer for Martin O'Neill's side in Gelsenkirchen. There was also late jubilation for Portugal, who snatched a 1-0 win away in Denmark courtesy of a last-gasp goal from Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, perhaps the most notable match of all was Serbia's match at home against Albania -- and it was notable for all the wrong reasons. Political troubles spilled over when a drone carrying the Albanian flag hovered over the pitch in Belgrade, leading to a pretty unsightly reaction from players and fans. Referee Martin Atkinson eventually decided to abandon the game.
Other notable results included Scotland's very respectable 2-2 draw away in Poland, and Northern Ireland's surprising 2-0 victory away in Greece, as Claudio Ranieri's nightmarish start to life in charge of the Ethniki continues.
