FIFA have sanctioned Serbia and Albania after their Euro 2016 qualifier in Belgrade last week ended in a mass brawl, sparked by the appearance of a drone carrying the Albanian flag. Instead of the match being replayed, Serbia have been awarded a 3-0 victory, but have also been handed a three-point deduction according to their national football association.
Serbia and Albania both sanctioned after Euro 2016 qualifier abandoned
The Serbian FA have announced the FIFA sanctions faced by themselves and their Albanian counterparts after their Euro 2016 qualifying clash ended in a mass brawl.

Serbia will also reportedly have to play their next two Euro 2016 fixtures behind closed doors, while both the Serbian and Albanian football associations face fines of €100,000.
Despite being sanctioned with a 3-0 defeat, Albania -- who are hoping to qualify for their first ever major international tournament -- stay tied at the top of Group I with Denmark. Serbia, meanwhile stay level with bottom club Armenia, three points off the top spot. However, Dick Advocaat's side do still have a game in hand to play, and they would move joint-top of their group with a victory.
