The Santiago Bernabeu had been whistling the ref for what they thought were some poor calls up until this point, but they'll be a bit happier after their side were given an equalizer.

While it’s a bit less impressive than his open play outings, this is still an absolutely absurd 21st goal for Cristiano Ronaldo in 14 games this season, in all competitions. He’s been much more provider for Karim Benzema than scoring threat in this game, but when Madrid finally got a chance, even if it was from the spot, it’s unsurprising that he was the man to score.
