Team scores horrible own goal one minute into title decider

Let the dancing begin.

There were three matches left in the Kenyan Premier Legaue when first place Gor Mahia met second place Sofapaka in what the media was calling a title decider. It was going to be a great, well-played match that had the country buzzing and .. welp, it was 90 seconds and they scored an own goal.

Fortunately, Sofakapa came back from that own goal to win, 3-2.

But let’s get to what really matters. What was better?

  • Gor Mahia doing a team celebration dance on an own goal.
  • The commentator saying “this is more or less going to guide on who is going to win the championship” as he hit the backpass.
