Are Nigeria currently suspended from FIFA?
One of football’s eternal questions, constantly answered.

Nigeria have avoided a seven-month ban from FIFA, and just narrowly. A court case that annulled the election of Amaju Pinnick as the Nigeria Football Federation’s president last month was recently withdrawn.
If that court case had not been withdrawn or overturned, the Super Eagles would have picked up their third ban of the year, They’ve twice recently been suspended by football’s global governing body for government interference.
“FIFA has today sent a letter to the NFF in which it takes note the order granted by the Federal High Court, nullifying the NFF elections of Sept. 30, was definitely withdrawn and that the board...is able to carry out its activities without any hindrance,” said FIFA in a statement.
Nigeria will now be allowed to qualify for next year's African Cup of Nations. The group stages of qualification are currently in progress, with Nigeria currently sat behind South Africa and Congo after an underwhelming start to their campaign.
This post will update whenever Nigeria’s FIFA eligibility status changes. Previously:
