Bundesliga scores: Another worrying Borussia Dortmund loss

Borussia Dortmund lost for the fourth time in seven matches, and the Bundesliga remains wide open. Well, except for at the top, because Bayern won again.

The Bundesliga lived up to its reputation as a wide-open, goal-rich league on Saturday. There were goals scored in every single game and at least two in all but one, but that one game might have been the most exciting and important. Borussia Dortmund lost once again, and their league position is starting to look worrying. Could BVB really end up having to scrape and claw for top four?

Borussia Dortmund 0-1 Hamburg SV: Hamburg hadn't won on the road in a year, but a trip to Dortmund couldn't have come at a better time. Despite looking like the best team in the Champions League, Dortmund have lost four times in the first seven league matches. It was a much needed win for Hamburg, and they moved up to second bottom. Pierre-Michel Lasogga'a 35th minute goal was only their second of the season.

Bayern Munich 4-0 Hannover 96: A comfortable win at home for the champions was in the bag six minutes in when Robert Lewandowski scored the first of his two goals. Arjen Robben also added a brace, and Manuel Neuer was only forced into making two saves. Full recap here.

Bayer Leverkusen 2-2 SC Paderborn 07: A horrible error by Leverkusen keeper Bernd Leno led to Paderborn getting a goal from an open net 30 yards out. Even though Marvin Bakalorz was sent off for Paderborn in the 72nd minute, Leverkusen would fall behind a second time, when Moritz Stoppelkamp gave the visitors a lead with three minutes left. Karim Bellarabi scored in the 90th minute to get Roger Schmidt's men a point at home against new boys Paderborn, who continue the dream start they've made to this season.

1899 Hoffenheim 2-1 FC Schalke 04: Schalke's struggles continued, with Hoffenheim getting a comfortable win at home. Former Schalke man Ádám Salazi got the goal that put Hoffenheim up 2-0, a lead they wouldn't relinquish. Joel Matip was sent off for Schalke with 15 minutes left, and a late Klass-Jan Huntelaar goal wasn't enough for Die Königsblauen.

SV Werder Bremen 1-1 SC Freiburg: Both teams got first-half goals, but weren't able to do enough to win. The fourth draw of the campaign for Werder sees them move down to last place, and they have zero wins from their first seven matches.

Eintracht Frankfurt 3-2 Köln - A surprisingly wild late match featured a brace for massive Eintracht target man Alexander Meier, who's having a big season. He scored his goals between Köln's two, scored early by Marcel Risse and in the 65th minute by Jonas Hector. The winner was an unfortunate one -- Kevin Wimmer put the ball into his own net in the 79th minute.
