The Premier League weekend draws to a close at Upton Park on Sunday, as West Ham welcome Queens Park Rangers to East London. The Hammers have had a mixed start to the season so far, having picked up an incredible win over Liverpool but succumbed to three defeats in their opening six matches.

West Ham are favourites to pick up all three points against struggling QPR.

Meanwhile, QPR's season has been less 'mixed' and more just 'plain bad'. They have picked up just four points from their opening six games, with a win over struggling Sunderland their only victory so far. If they lose this match, things will start to look very bad indeed for Harry Redknapp's outfit.
Key player - Stewart Downing (West Ham)
West Ham's Stewart Downing has enjoyed an excellent start to the season so far, with the former Liverpool man having been gradually converted into a pretty handy central midfielder by Sam Allardyce. His tireless industry and fine passing and crossing abilities have ensured he's adapted well to his new role, and QPR will have to try and limit his influence in this match.
Key matchup - West Ham’s strikers vs. QPR’s defence
West Ham made a concerted effort to try and shake their 'boring' tag over the summer, and they could've done much worse than sign Mauro Zárate, Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho. All three attackers are very different players, giving manager Sam Allardyce great options up top. They've all already netted in the Premier League this season -- and the latter has three goals in four games. QPR's shaky defence could struggle to keep them off the scoresheet.
West Ham United injuries and suspensions
Out: Andy Carroll (ankle), Cheikhou Kouyaté (groin), Joey O'Brien (knee), Mark Noble (calf). In doubt: Guy Demel (knock).
Queens Park Rangers injuries and suspensions
Out: Alejandro Faurlín (knee), Jordon Mutch, Joey Barton (hamstring). In doubt: Adel Taarabt (fitness).
West Hams only new injury doubt is Guy Demel, though otherwise they’re as they were, with Andy Carroll and Mark Noble still their most notable absentees. QPR are still without first team midfielders Jordon Mutch and Joey Barton, though Adel Taarabt could be back involved in some capacity.
