Bournemouth unveils new crest for Movember

It is Movember, which means lots of men are growing terrible facial hair in the name of charity.

AFC Bournemouth have gotten into the festivities too, unveiling a crest just for the month. It features, of course, a man with a mustache heading a ball. They will wear the crest on their kits when they play Brighton and Hove Albion too, as well as using it in programmes, on social media and on TV.

The club said that they hope to raise awareness for men’s health and that the team will warm up in Movember t-shirts that will be autographed and then auctioned off for charity.

Fun and charity always make for a good mix. Getting a win would make it even better. And if a Bournemouth player wants to grow a really epic mustache for Movember (perhaps of the handlebar variety?) then they can be called the champions of football-related Movember.
