A team in a Ukraine amateur league was absolutely incensed when the referee whistled for a penalty against them. They swarmed the referee, which is normal. What a substitute player coming off of the bench did is not normal at all.

According to 101 Great Goals, the referee then changed his mind and did not award the penalty. The other team then swarmed him.
Once more, we ask why anyone would want to be a referee.
Thankfully, this ref appeared to avoid serious injury.
