Turkey vs. Brazil, Final score 0-4, Neymar helps the Canarinhos roast Turkey

Neymar’s brace led Brazil to a comfortable friendly victory over Turkey.

Brazil cruised to an easy victory over Turkey in an international friendly on Wednesday. Neymar led the way for the Brazilians, playing the full 90 minutes and scoring two goals.

in the 18th minute Brazil got their first great chance on goal when Neymar curled a free kick form 20-yards just over the crossbar. Less than a minute later Neymar got another crack at the goal and his time he didn't miss. Ferdandinho's long pass forward was time precisely as Neymar broke past Turkey's high line, staying onside and racing out alone against Volkan Demirel. Neymar chested down the ball, moved into the box and put a low shot past the Turkish keeper.

The floodgates opened at this point for Brazil and in the 24th minute they doubled their lead. Danilo sent a short cross into the Turkish area from the right side and in attempt to cut off the pass, Semih Kaya inadvertently directed the ball into his own goal.

Turkey tried to respond and Arda Turan came ever so close to pulling a goal back in the 30th minute. Turin’s shot from the edge of the area was well played, curling down on a path to go just under the crossbar. Instead, goalkeeper Diego Alves made a spectacular diving save, pushing the ball over the bar.

Just before the halftime break Brazil took advantage of a bit of a scramble in the Turkish box to expand their lead to 3-0. Neymar’s run in from the left was cut off by the defense, but he managed to poke the ball free, getting a fortunate bounce in the process, to the right where Willian strolled in unmarked, placing a shot past Demirel.

Neymar scored his second goal of the match in the 60th minute playing a lovely one-two with Willian before holding off a challenge to put hit shot past Babacan.
