Raul Jimenez scores opening goal for Mexico against Belarus
The first half didn't feature many chances for Mexico, but they got off to a good start in the second half, with a goal just two minutes into the period. Raul Jimenez was the scorer, but what you won't see here is how he set it up.
About 10 seconds before the final pass, Jimenez held the ball up with multiple defenders on his back, made a good pass before getting shoved down, then got up and continued his run into the box. His effort was great, and his touch before the finish was just as good.
Jonathan dos Santos’ assist is very nice too, and much needed after a poor first half from him.
