Anthony Pilkington has Ireland 1-0 up on the USMNT

Well, this isn't the start Jurgen Klinsmann wanted, and it certainly isn't the kind of start that the United States have been getting off to in recent matches. Matt Besler was caught napping on this excellent pass by David McGoldrick to Anthony Pilkington, who has the Republic of Ireland ahead. That's a bad combination of poor defending and a spectacular through ball.
