The Swabians are currently dead last, with just two wins from 12 games.

It’s an all too familiar feeling for the Swabians, who, after last season’s winterpause, spent the majority of their time clawing desperately for safety. Yet the man who kept them in the Bundesliga, Huub Stevens, resigned after the end of the 2013-14 season.
Armin Veh, who’d led Stuttgart to their most recent Bundesliga trophy in 2007, returned for this season. But after just two wins in twelve games, he resigned following the loss to Augsburg. Now, Stevens has returned.
In addition to his short time at Stuttgart, Stevens has coached Schalke, who he led to second place in the Bundesliga in 2001, and Köln, who he guided to promotion in 2005, as well as various other sides. The 60-year-old most recently managed Greek side PAOK.
