AS Roma should probably be in a hole in the UEFA Champions League, but thanks to Manchester City’s stumbles, they’re in decent shape. That won’t change even if they struggle, as expected, against Bayern Munich on Wednesday (2:45 p.m. ET, FOX Soccer Plus).
Bayern Munich vs. AS Roma live stream: How to watch the UEFA Champions League online
Prepare for another blowout.
The last match between these teams was a downright embarrassment for Roma, who have an unfortunate history of taking some of this competition's most famous colossal beatings. However, they're still in decent shape in the group, and will be in control of their own fate even if they get absolutely demolished again.
Both sides' injury lists are long. Roma are definitely without Leandro Castan and Davide Astori, while none of Maicon, Marco Borriello or Kevin Strootman are expected to play. Bayern have even more unavailable players -- Holger Badstuber, Claudio Pizzaro, Javi Martinez, Pepe Reina, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Thiago Alcantara are all out.
This was one of the games sublicensed to ESPN, so it’s easy for American viewers to catch it online. For most, the best way to watch will be the Watch ESPN app. There’s an ESPN3 stream of the match on that service, meaning you do not need to be a TV subscriber to watch.
Unfortunately, this game is not carried on any of FOX Sports’ networks, so you cannot find this game on FOX Sports Go. It will be on FOX Soccer 2 Go, a paid service that doesn’t require a TV subscription.
You can find the game on Sportsnet World Now in Canada and Sky Go in the UK. For listings from more countries, check out Live Soccer TV.
