Bayern Munich vs. CSKA Moscow, 2014 UEFA Champions League: Time, TV schedule and game preview

Bayern have nothing to play for but CSKA still have a chance to advance on the final matchday.

CSKA Moscow travel to face Group E winners Bayern Munich needing a win over the Germans combined with some help from the other group game if they hope to advance.

Getting a victory against Bayern won't be easy considering they're virtually unbeatable at home and have yet to lose in the Champions League this season. The two sides played a close game in their first meeting which featured an empty stadium thanks to UEFA sanctions against CSKA for fan behavior. Bayern won 1-0 and will be heavy favorites to do much the same on Wednesday even if Pep Guardiola chooses to rest starters.

The last time Bayern lost at home to a Russian side was in the 1995/86 UEFA Cup when Lokomotiv Moscow won 1-0. In case you were wondering, the Germans won the second leg 5-0 in Russia en route to winning the trophy that season.
