Liverpool vs. Sunderland live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch the EPL online

Liverpool go for a third straight win against the Black Cats.

Thanks to two straight league victories Liverpool have crept up to 8th place in the table, moving within striking distance of the race for a European place. Considering how tumultuous this season has been for the Reds, it’s actually a pretty good situation, though this month will likely determine how good fans are feeling about things.

Before the Reds can worry about trying to advance in the Champions league or their upcoming matches against Manchester United and Arsenal, they must keep building momentum against Sunderland. The Black Cats are fresh off a hiding at the hands of Manchester City and will hoping to get themselves back on track.

Liverpool will be hoping that Sunderland's defense remains as porous as it was during the midweek, rather than the organized and stingy force they were against Chelsea. If the defense recovers, Liverpool's inconsistent offense could find themselves struggling to create chances.

Liverpool injuries and suspensions

Out:Daniel Sturridge (thigh), Jon Flanagan (knee), Suso (groin). In Doubt: José Enrique (knee)

Sunderland injuries and suspensions

Out: Billy Jones (hamstring), Sebastián Coates (ineligible), Emanuele Giaccherini (ankle), Patrick van Aanholt (shoulder). In Doubt: Steven Fletcher (back)

Liverpool’s injury list continues to shrink but the key player in their attack, Daniel Sturridge, remains sidelined with thigh problems. Defender José Enrique is a doubt as well with knee trouble. Steven Fletcher is Sunderland’s only doubtful player with a back injury.
