Premier League wrap: Manchester United lose, Everton jump Spurs
Everton picked up three points in the race for fourth, while a Spurs draw dropped them to sixth and Manchester United fell further off the pace with a loss.
Things could not have started any better for the Canaries as Robert Snodgrass scored five minutes, but it was all downhill from there. It took until the second half before Cardiff finally found the net, with Craig Bellamy and Kenwyne Jones scoring one minute apart to fire Cardiff to victory.
Everton 2-1 Aston Villa
Leandro Bacuna gave Aston Villa a halftime lead, but Everton stormed back in the last 17 minutes to earn the Toffees three points. Steve Naismith scored in the 73rd minute to bring Everton level before Kevin Mirallas' tremendous curling free kick found the top corner to finish the job for the Toffees.
Fulham 0-3 Southampton
The Cottagers have a problem: They’re terrible.
Southampton took until the second half before they turned up the heat, but they completely destroyed Fulham at Craven Cottage. Adam Lallana scored in the 64th minute, Rickie Lambert added another in the 70th and Jay Rodriguez capped things off in the 75th minute to wrap up a complete demolition that keeps Fulham bottom of the table.
