FA Cup draw: A final rematch and a potential Merseyside Derby
Everton could face their local rivals if things go Liverpool’s way, while Manchester City have a chance at revenge. There’s also slight potential for a Sheffield derby.

While that game will be an important and interesting one no matter what, it might not be the tie with the most eyes on it if it's not a derby. That's because one of the ties is a rematch of last year's spectacular final, which saw Wigan Athletic upset Manchester City. The defending champs have pulled the toughest draw possible in the quarterfinals, and will have to travel to Etihad Stadium.
There’s also the possibility of a Sheffield derby, but that’s not looking great at the moment. At the time of the draw, Sheffield United were losing to Nottingham Forest, 1-0.
The quarterfinal ties are scheduled for March 8, subject to change for scheduling conflicts.
