Ricardo Quaresma is still alive and pretty skilled

Yes, he is that one guy from that one thing.

You may remember Ricardo Quaresma, who has seemingly been around since the beginning of time. He’s been around so long that he got two lives as a highly touted young player, reclaiming wonderkid status shortly after his failed stint at Barcelona a decade ago.

Since then, he’s had poor spells at Inter Milan and Chelsea before he got shipped off to Besiktas, where he was also poor. Then he went to the United Arab Emirates until he decided he liked playing competitive football more than making money and returned to Porto for a third time.

Incredibly, the 30-year-old has picked up where he left off in 2008 and is making a late challenge for a spot on the plane to Brazil with the Portuguese national team. He’s off to a great start in the Portuguese Liga with Porto and scored the above spectacular goal in his first Europa League game during this stint with the club on Thursday, against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Welcome back, Ricardo Quaresma. Again.
