Norwich City vs. Tottenham: Preview and TV schedule

Spurs need points to stay in the race for fourth, the Canaries need points to stay above the drop zone. Which means it should be a good match on Sunday at Carrow Road.

Tottenham Hotspur travel to face Norwich City needing points to stay in touch with Liverpool as they attempt to grab fourth place and a Champions League place for next season.

Spurs have won two straight matches over Everton and Newcastle but fell in the mid-week against Dnipro in their Europa League Round of 32 first leg match. Head coach Tim Sherwood will be hoping that his team shakes off the result and is ready for what amounts to a must win game for Spurs in the race for fourth.

Norwich are in a different battle all together as they fight to avoid relegation from the Premier League. The Canaries are safe for the moment, but they're only one points above Sunderland -- who lost on Saturday -- and the first spot in the drop zone. A win for Norwich would allow them to create some breathing space.

Spurs won the first meeting between the two sides in September 2-0 thanks to a brace from Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Norwich City injuries and suspensions

Out: Michael Turner (hamstring), Elliott Bennett (knee). In doubt: Jonas Gutierrez (calf), Jonny Howson (back), Ryan Bennett (back).

Tottenham injuries and suspensions

Out: Sandro (calf), Jermain Defoe (hamstring), Erik Lamela (back), Vlad Chiriches (back).

Several familiar faces remain sidelined for Spurs with Sandro, Defoe, Lamela and Chiriches will miss the match. Norwich have several questions ahead of the match with the status of Jonas Guiterrez, Jonny Howson and Ryan Bennett all in doubt.
