Barcelona vs. Manchester City: Lineups

It’s going to be a congested center of the pitch at Camp Nou.

David Ramos

Manchester City went with their regular setup against Barcelona at home, but they're looking to flood the midfield away at the Camp Nou, even though they're in need of two goals. It's not clear if their formation is a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3 -- James Milner could easily be playing in the center of midfield or on the wing -- but the team should function similarly either way.

Barcelona will do something similar with their midfield, playing Andres Iniesta as a wide forward who will probably do plenty of interchanging with Cesc Fabregas. Neymar looks set to start on the right, with Alexis Sanchez losing his place to accommodate him.

Barcelona (4-3-3): Victor Valdes; Jordi Alba, Javier Mascherano, Gerard Pique, Dani Alves; Sergio Busquets, Xavi Hernandez, Cesc Fabregas; Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi, Neymar

Manchester City (4-2-3-1): Joe Hart; Aleksandar Kolarov, Joleon Lescott, Vincent Kompany, Pablo Zabaleta; Fernandinho, Yaya Toure; Samir Nasri, David Silva, James Milner; Sergio Aguero

Kickoff is at 3:45 p.m. ET, 8:45 p.m. local time. You can see the game on Fox Sports 1 in the United States, Sky Sports 1 in the United Kingdom and Sportsnet regional networks in Canada.
