The most remarkable thing about Matchday 26 in the Bundesliga is the fact that it is possible for the championship to be decided. If the results go their way this weekend, Bayern Munich will clinch another championship.
Bundesliga, Week 26 preview: Bayern Munich can clinch the title... Seriously
It seems crazy, but Bayern Munich can clinch the title this weekend. It’s March.

For Bayern, they will be looking for their 18th straight win in the Bundesliga when they visit Mainz. Thomas Tuchel has his team in fifth place in the midst of a very impressive season. They'll try to do what 17 other teams before them have failed to do, and that is not lose to FC Bayern.
Pep Guardiola has shown no fear in changing up his lineup to achieve a result. Last weekend against Bayer Leverkusen, Guardiola started Diego Contento and Daniel Van Buyten in defense. He's a manager with the deepest squad in the world, and he knows it. If you could predict the formation and lineup that he will use game to game, I'd ask you for the lottery numbers next.
With Bayern finally starting to get close to full fitness, it’s going to be interesting to see what Mainz does to try and withstand the pressing. The key will be quick counters to try to catch FC Bayern out, but even then you have to take all of your chances. If you get an opportunity to score, you have to score, because a second chance may not be coming.
If Bayern exit the Coface Arena as winners, a win by Borussia Dortmund or Schalke will prevent them from being crowned champions on the day. Both clubs have very winnable games against Hannover and Braunschweig. The two Ruhr clubs are dealing with multiple injuries, so anything is possible.
