Ray Hudson delivers a classic El Clasico performance

“Cooler than a bomb disposal expert.”

Ray Hudson is ... special.

There are a lot of ways to describe the former footballer and coach, and now beIN Sport color analyst, none of which would do him justice. The English language doesn’t really have the words necessary to encapsulate the man, which is probably also why he often makes up words.

And so when El Clasico comes around, Hudson’s favorite matches of the year, he defies us all and manages to turn it up a notch. He certainly did that yesterday and thanks to one hero, you can hear everything he said in one video.

“Working harder than a one-eyed cat covering three mouse holes.”

Because of course, that is how we all describe defenses.

"In the United States of America, we name hurricanes by name. If they ever name one Lionel Messi, you'd better evacuate."

This is sound survival advice. Hurricanes can be dangerous and cause death. If one is on path to your home, it would only be wise to evacuate.

“By his standards, Messi makes a garlic milkshake out of this.”

I’ve got nothing.
