Nigel Reo-Coker injures himself tripping over bike rack

Professional soccer players are impressive and graceful athletes. They do things that most of us can only imagine. The way that they move their bodies, doing the seemingly impossible, is akin to art.

And there was no video?

Thanks a lot, Canada.

The question is where this ranks among worst sports injuries.

Does it top Gus Frerotte hurting his neck headbutting a wall while celebrating? How about Sammy Sosa sneeze-induced back injury? And then there’s Vince Coleman getting caught up in the tarp machine, Wade Boogs getting hurt pulling his cowboy boots on and Bret Barberie rubbing chili juice in his eye.

Reo-Coker is now in that company.

But at least he didn’t injure himself trying to iron his shirt ... while he was still wearing it. John Smoltz is still the king.
