A year after he was basically left for dead as a great player, Gerrard has turned in one of the best seasons of his life. Not coincidentally, Liverpool are also back in the title race, although he's gotten a fair bit of help from some guys named Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.
And nothing is vintage Gerrard quite like a great free kick. Kind of like the one he scored to put Liverpool 1-0 up on Sunderland.
Not bad, old man.
