Valencia players and fans partied into the night after comeback

Sports!

What do you do when you comeback from 3-0 down to win a quarterfinal tie, 5-3, in extra time? Go hang out with your fans and throw your shirts down to them, obviously.

At least that's what Valencia did.

Valencia lost the first leg in Basel, 3-0, but three goals in the final 53 minutes of the second leg sent the leg into extra time. There, Los Che scored two more times to capture the tie and send those at the Mestalla wild.

Valencia were dead and buried. Their Europe League dreams were dead. It was over. Only it wasn’t.

And the party wasn’t going to end in the stadium either. The fans took it to the streets, where the players came out to celebrate with them and make it rain shirts.

Sometimes sport gives you moments you never want to end. Good on the Valencia fans and players for stretching this one out and making it last as long as they could. Fingers crossed there’s still a few of them partying somewhere.
